Automatic Control Engineering Department
 
 

The Automatic Control Engineering Department was founded in 2003. We have three Bachelor’s Degree Program, they are Automation, Electrical Engineering and Automation and Measuring and Control Technology and Instrumentations. Our department aims to cultivate the compound talents with innovative consciousness and high practical ability, who can combine theory with practice.

We have established the teacher troop in high quality through Silver Hair Program and Master Program since the establishment of our department. We have professors, associate professors and lecturers. The young teachers, who have graduated from 7 universities home and abroad, all have the master’s degree.



We have 9 labs, which concern electronics in Electrical Engineering, Digital and Simulate Electrical Circle, Sensor, Instrument and Meter for Automation, Single Chip Microcomputer, Embedded System, Principle of Automatic Control, Process Control, Motor Control. These labs can meet the students’ basic needs in learning, experiments, practice and making graduation project.

We develop the students’ ability in the principle of ‘Three Good, One Wide’ that is they are good at math, electronic technique and computer and therefore they have a wider choice in employment.

Our graduates have graduated and found a good job, and many of them have passed the examination for the postgraduate program as well.


Automation Major

The students of automation major should have a good command of engineering technology and certain professional knowledge, in terms of electronic technology, electronic technology, control theory, automatic detection and instrument, information processing, system engineering, technology and application of computer and network technology, etc. In the fields of the industrial process control, power electronics technology, detection and automatic instrument, electronic and computer technology, information processing, management and decision, the students should be good at system analysis, system design, system operation, technology development and research.

Measurement and Control Technology and Instrument Major

This major is set, according to the needs of modern professional establishment, that is, “widen caliber, strengthen adaptability”. This program is based on electronic technology, training the students with the basic knowledge and application ability of the design of precision instrument manufacture and measurement and control. The students can undertake the design, manufacturing, technology development, application research, operation and management of the measurement and control technology, instrument and system in every department of national economy.

The precision instruments system, electronics, measurement and control system are the main subjects.

Electrical Engineering and Automation

The students should master the basic theory, basic knowledge and basic skills of the power system and its automation, electric drive system and its automation and application of power electronic technology etc. The students should master the basic principle and basic method of digital signal processing, computer control.
